Vivre la vie boheme! While the Jazz Age was booming in America, Gertrude Stein was holding weekly salons in her Paris apartment at 27 Rue de Fleures. These events brought together confluences of talent and thinking that would help define modernism in literature and art. Société Obscur has partnered with St.Germain to take you back in time.

As usual, the particulars of our events shall remain obscure to everyone but those in attendance at the event. But here’s what we can tell you:

• Années Folles translates from French to English as “Crazy Years”. The term describes the rich social, artistic, and cultural collaborations of Jazz Age Paris.

• There will be a sit down dinner. Please make your dining selection and note any dietary restrictions when you buy your ticket.

• Pre-selected wine pairings will be offered with the meal courses and a cash bar will be available before and after dinner.

• The attire is cocktail chic. Feel free to lean into the theme but this is absolutely NOT a costume party. (But one is coming…)

• The event will take place in the Downtown area of Los Angeles. The exact location will be sent on the morning of the event.

• This location does not have secured parking. We’ve partnered with Lyft to offer a 20% discount on rides to and from this event. A discount code will be sent the morning of the event.

• Your must relinquish your mobile phone at check in. It will be returned to you outside the event, when you are leaving. You may view or check it outside the event, but must turn it in before re-entering. We want Société Obscur events to be a safe space to relax, socialize and have a fucking blast. Approved shareable atmosphere photos in which all attendees will only appear anonymously will be released within 2 days of the event.

• Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event will be required to enter.
